Emergency crews called after woman suffers heart attack in Chart Road, Ashford

Police, paramedics and the fire service were called this morning after a woman suffered a heart attack by the roadside.
Crews were called to Chart Road in Ashford at around 9.15am after reports a woman suffered a cardiac arrest.
An ambulance service spokesman said the woman had been travelling in a car but the vehicle had stopped following the medical episode.
She was resuscitated at the scene but was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
A fire service spokesman said they were called by paramedics to assist with the incident.
A spokesman for police said officers were also called by SECAmb to assist and remain at the scene.
