Firefighters spent more than an hour attending to an outbuilding used to store horse riding equipment ablaze in Smarden last night.
Two fire engines were called to Bethersden Road just before 9pm last night.
Crews arrived at the scene to find the timber framed outbuilding alight, and used a high pressure hose reel to tackle the fire.
A water shuttle was also operated, as the building was in the middle of a field.
The fire was put out by 10pm and firefighters spent a further 25 minutes damping down.
The building was destroyed by the blaze and crews left the scene just before 10.30pm.
