Fire at Ashford's William Harvey Hospital in Kennington Road

A fire broke out at a hospital.
Five fire engines and a height vehicle were dispatched to William Harvey Hospital in Willesborough, Ashford at 6.50pm last night following reports of a fire on the hospital site.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire in an incinerator building, separate to the main hospital.
No injuries have been reported and there was no risk to patients.
The cause of the fire - which took more than two hours to extinguish - is not yet known.
