Firefighters called to deal with blaze in basement at Eastwell Manor Hotel, in Boughton Aluph, near Ashford

Ashford fire crews spent nearly an hour this afternoon tackling a fire in the basement of a hotel.
Two engines and a water unit were sent to Eastwell Manor Hotel and Spa, in Faversham Road, in Boughton Aluph, at 2.45pm.
It is understood the blaze broke out in the basement laundry room in a three-storey building.
Fire crews entered the building wearing breathing apparatus and used a hose reel and main jet to extinguish the fire.
A positive pressure ventilation fan was also used to clear smoke from the building.
There are no reports of any injuries.
The stop came through at 3.35pm.
