Fire in kitchen of flat in Kennington Road, Ashford

Firefighters tackled a blaze in the kitchen of a flat in Ashford this morning.
The fire started just before 11am in the ground floor of the three-storey property in Kennington Road, Willesborough, near the junction of Silverhill Road.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. There were no reported injuries.
The cause is not yet known.
