Fire crews were called to a blaze in a first-floor bedroom last night.
Two pumps rushed to the home in Romney Road, Willesborough around 8pm yesterday.
The teams spent less than half an hour extinguishing the small fire with breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet, before fitting a working fire alarm.
The flames damaged a pile clothing and a bedroom door.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and luckily no one was injured.
