Car fire between Hythe and Ashford junctions of M20

Firefighters rushed out to put out a blaze on a car on a motorway.
It happened on the M20 coastbound between the Junction 10 and 11 Ashford and Hythe turnoffs this morning.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Two fire engines were sent to the incident and crews used a hose reel jet to tackle the fire."
Firefighters were called out at 7.18am and able to finish and leave the scene at exactly 7.49am.
Kent Police said the incident was also dealt with by highways officials although they were not needed.
