Singleton post office blaze: crews tackle fire

Firefighters have battled a small blaze in a convenience store in Singleton.
Two pumps from Kent Fire and Rescue Service headed to the Singleton Centre at 3.23pm today.
Crews had received reports of a fire in the post office area of the Singleton Hill store.
They used a hose reel jet, breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation van to deal with the fire and clear smoke from the premises.
No was injured and the cause of the fire is unknown.
