A man who allegedly exposed himself outside an Ashford supermarket has been charged with assaulting a police constable.
Officers were called to Asda, in Kimberley Way, on Saturday night at 8.50pm following reports a drunken man had indecently exposed himself.
Ricky Paul Benham, 26, of Finn Farm Road, Ashford, was arrested following the indecent act.
He was charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place; resisting a police constable in the execution of his duty and assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty.
He has been released on bail and is due to appear before Canterbury Magistrates on April 25.
