There were delays on several parts of the motorway network in Kent as heavy rain hit the county.
A lane was closed on the London-bound M20 in Ashford after rain flooded part of the carriageway.
One lane was out of action between Junctions 10 and 9 but traffic coped well.
Further down the M20, traffic was temporarily held after a car collided with the central reservation on the London-bound carriageway.
Traffic was stopped from Junction 12 for Cheriton and Junction 11 for Hythe.
No injuries have been reported and police attended to assist with vehicle recovery.
Meanwhile, an overturned vehicle on the M2 also caused delays for motorists travelling London-bound.
One lane was closed and traffic was moving slowly between Junction 6 for Faversham and Junction 5 at the Stockbury Roundabout.
A fallen tree also caused tailbacks on the A2 northbound before the Goodnestone junction.
