One lane of the M20 has been closed due to flooding as heavy rain continues to sweep across Kent.
Drivers are currently unable to use the inside lane on the London-bound side between Junctions 10 and 9 for Ashford.
It comes amid a yellow weather warning for the south east which runs until 10pm.
The Met Office says delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges are likely, as well as longer journey times due to spray.
Away from Ashford, rail services between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings have been stopped because of a tree on the line.
Southeastern has warned passengers: "The tree is under the train that hit it and is across both lines so the line between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings is currently blocked in both directions.
"The train has been damaged and will need the maintenance team to fix it before it can move.
"At present we have been unable to source alternative transport; please speak to station staff regarding onward travel."
Engineers from Network Rail are said to be en route to the area.
