Worcester City 6 Folkestone Invicta 0
FOLKESTONE Invicta endured another miserable day as they conceded six goals in a game for the third time during 2003 and then finally arrived back at Cheriton Road at 11pm after their coach broke down on the M25.
Invicta were behind as early as the third minute when centre forward Adam Webster opened the scoring for Worcester with a good finish across the face of goal when the ball fell to him on the right hand side of the box.
It was 2-0 after 31 minutes when Stewart Hadley fed striking partner Webster
in the box and his shot deflected in off Guest. And it was Hadley who made it 3-0 after 44 minutes when his shot from outside
the penalty area went into the corner of the net.
Worcester went further ahead after 47 minutes when right back Allan Davies hit the goal of the game when he let fly from outside the penalty area when Wilde played a corner from the right back to him.
The fifth goal came after 54 minutes as Worcester broke and caught Invicta
outnumbered at the back as Hadley played the ball into the path of Webster who duly completed his hat-trick.
It was 6-0 after 67 minutes when another Wilde corner from the right was played back to Davies, who this time chipped the ball into the middle for centre half Mark Blount to score from close range.
