A row of garages has sold for more than three times the guide price after it went under the hammer at auction.
The lock-ups off Jemmett Road in South Ashford are currently let at £8 per week, and were up for sale at Clive Emson.
Auctioneer Kevin Gilbert said the original guide price was £10,000, but the block actually sold for £33,000.
He said the property was attractive to investors as it brings in a regular income, while there was also interest from residents who wanted more garage space.
A further half-acre site was also off Mill Lane in Kennington for more than double the guide price of £50,000. The land could be developed if planning permission is granted.
The next property auction will be held on Tuesday, March 20 at the conference centre at the Kent County Showground from 11am.
