A driver fled the scene of a crash which destroyed a garden wall - sending debris into two parked vans.
Police have launched an investigation after an unknown vehicle smashed into the boundary of a property in Canterbury Road, Willesborough.
Homeowner Julia May, 44, says she was lucky her house was not hit in the incident, which happened on Sunday evening.
“We’re really disappointed the driver didn’t stop and didn’t make any contact over the damage," she said.
“Anyone could have been walking along that path at that time of night.
“If the little van wasn’t on the driveway that vehicle could have collided with our house.”
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesman said: “We received a call at 8pm on Sunday, reporting that a vehicle had collided with a wall and van at an address on Canterbury Road in Willesborough at about 7.10pm that evening.
“Anyone with information, including CCTV or doorbell footage, should contact us quoting 14-1183.”
