Fencing staple fired at 16-year-old from car on Kingsnorth Road in Ashford

A girl was hit by a fencing staple fired from a moving car in a suspected catapult attack.
The 16-year-old suffered bruising after being hit with the sharp metal object in Kingsnorth Road, Ashford.
While it is not known what was used to propel the pronged piece, the victim believed it may have been a catapult that was used.
The victim's sister said the incident happened on Sunday afternoon.
"There were two cars, with one being a silver Vauxhall Corsa," she said.
"They slowed down, leaned out and it hit her. They then sped off.
"She was waiting outside a bus stop in Kingsnorth Road."
Data acquired through a Freedom of Information request recently highlighted Ashford as the county's capital for catapult crime - with the number of catapult-related reports nearly trebling in three years.
A police spokesman said: "Officers were called at shortly before 8.30pm on May 13 with reports that a girl had been hit in the leg with a staple fired from a passing car on Kingsnorth Road, Ashford, on May 12 at about 2pm.
"Officers are continuing to investigate and anyone with any information should contact police on 01843 222289 citing reference 13-1629."
