Nicole Amos is a talented young golfer celebrating an England call-up.
The 11-year-old from Kennington, in her first year at Highworth Grammar School who plays off 11, said: "I am very pleased, I went for it last year, but I felt I had a better chance this time.
"It means I have to work harder, but I know what I have to do, and one day, if all goes well, would like to make golf my career."
Nicole, who took up the game at the age of seven, is coached at Homelands Golf Centre by Howard Bonaccorsi. She is also a member at Faversham Golf Club, where she plays most of her competitions.
She says her best result so far was winning the England Womens Golf Association’s South Region under-13 Championship at Stoneham Golf Club, near Southampton last summer.
Having already represented Kent, she is now waiting to hear more about her England selection, which is named in three groups, South Midlands and North.
