Crates of desserts have been removed from broken fridges in a Tesco.
The store in Park Farm, Ashford, apologised to customers for the inconvenience and used trolleys to block the aisles.
A note read: "Due to extreme weather conditions some of our refrigeration is not working.
"We apologise if you are unable to purchase some items. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
One shopper captured pictures of Actimel and Muller yoghurts collected in the trolleys to be taken away.
The hot weather had also played havoc on Kent's roads and thermometers hit the highest they ever have done in July.
