OAP is targeted by two teenage robbers in Harper Road, Ashford

Two young men mugged an old lady by snatching her bag as she walked along an Ashford street in the middle of the afternoon.
The woman, who is in her 70s, was making her way along Harper Road, Ashford at 3.45pm yesterday (Thursday) when the robbery took place.
Inspector Andy Bidmead said: "She was passed by two men who grabbed her bag and pulled it out of her hands before running off towards Victoria Park."
The two suspects are described as white and aged about 18. One was wearing a blue tracksuit.
Insp Bidmead added: "Although the victim was not injured this was a distressing experience for her and we are keen to locate the offenders.
"We ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help our investigation to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference ZY/20934/16."
