Industrial oven fire in Stowting, Ashford

Firefighters were called to a fire involving an industrial oven this afternoon.
The blaze happened just after 1pm today at a single-storey industrial premises in Stowting Common, Stowting, near Ashford.
Four fire engines and a height vehicle attended, and crews wore breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.
Two main jets and water from a hydrant were used.
The building was evacuated before crews arrived and there were no reported injuries.
The incident was scaled down to two fire engines and a height vehicle at 2.10pm and crews remained on the scene using a hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to check the flames were out.
