Krispy Kreme is the latest store coming to Ashford Designer Outlet - and the first 12 customers are set to receive special prizes.

It is set to open a store within the centre's multi-million pound expansion on Tuesday, August 20.

The new airstream store - which is an American-style trailer - is one of seven of its kind to open in the UK.

Doughnut lovers will be able to get their hands on some tasty treats on the opening day - with the first twelve customers set to receive special prizes.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will mark the official opening of the store at 10am, followed by a day jam-packed with events and tasty treats up for grabs.

Craig Evans, new store openings manager at Krispy Kreme, said: "We can’t wait to meet more Krispy Kreme fans at our new airstream store at Ashford Designer Outlet.

"For a while there have been calls to increase our presence in the area and we’re excited to see the reaction on opening day.

“We’re all about sharing the magic of our freshly-baked treats and to celebrate the opening we’ll be dishing out hundreds of complimentary doughnuts at hotspots across the local area in the lead up to the opening…shoppers and doughnut lovers keep your eyes peeled!"
