The Snowdogs from Ashford town centre are waving their final farewells this weekend ahead of a charity auction next week.

The farewell weekend - being held at the Julie Rose Stadium on Saturday and Sunday - will see all of the model mutts collected together for the first time.

There will be 55 colourful canines on show between 10am and 4pm on Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sunday.

Booking is essential, with tickets costing £5 per adult, £2.50 for children and £12.50 for a family ticket.

Following the Motorline-sponsored final event, an auction will be held at the Ashford International Hotel in support of Pilgrims Hospice.

Monday's sale begins at 6pm, and some Snowdog surprises are to be expected throughout the evening.

The evening's bidding will be led by TV auctioneers Michael Hogben and Alison Chapman, who will oversee the scrum for 36 super-sized sculptures.

Trail organisers are expecting the sculptures to raise thousands for the late-life charity, with the entry fee for the auction set at £30.
