Leon Camier returns to a happy hunting ground for round eight of the World Superbike Championship this weekend.
The Ashford rider is in action at Motorland Aragon in Spain, a few hours from his adopted home of Andorra.
Camier, 25, and his FIXI Suzuki Crescent team suffered a frustrating two days of rain-affected testing this week.
He said: "Certain tracks suit us better than others but it’s hard to say how we’ll go here.
"The team are working hard and keep coming up with new strategies, so we’ll see what we come up with. I finished third in the first race last year and was catching the leader by the end."
Camier, now 13th in the championship, added: "We’re not suddenly going to find another half-a-second a lap.
"The chassis and handling are pretty good but we need to improve the electronics and get more out of the engine."
Do you think Camier can repeat his success this weekend? Have your say below.
