Highland cattle have returned to graze at The Warren in Ashford for the second year running.
Five animals will be helping to maintain the glades and open habitats within the nature reserve off Fougeres Way.
Kent Wildlife Trust manages the land for Ashford Borough Council and spokesman Ian Rickards said: “The cattle did an excellent job last year clearing the away the brambles and it meant we had a great display of bluebells in the open space.
“Lots of families also came to see the cattle and admire them.”
The animals were brought in from Hothfield on Monday and are owned by the Trust.
Mr Rickards said that people were welcome to visit the site in Warren Lane, but should ensure that dogs are kept on a lead.
