An HGV driver has been airlifted to hospital after two lorries
crashed on the A20 near Capel-Le-Ferne this morning.
The London-bound carriageway is expected to remain closed into
this afternoon following the smash between the Court Wood
Interchange and Round Hill Tunnels at about 8am.
Kent Police said the coast-bound carriageway was closed to
allow an air ambulance to land.

Earlier, a crew from Kent Fire and Rescue Service had been
working to free a man from one of the lorries.
Motorists were advised to use alternative routes as the
London-bound carriageway of the A20 was likely to stay shut for
several hours.
Highways staff were also working to clear a diesel spill from
the road.
