A route between two villages is blocked in both directions after a lorry overturned on a country road.
The B2067 Ruckinge Road was closed from Marsh Road in Ruckinge to New Church Road in Bilsington following the accident on Saturday morning.
There are reports of heavy traffic in the area and Stagecoach has said it is presently unable to take passengers between Ruckinge and Bilsington.
In a statement posted on X, the transport company added, until further notice, the 11A service “will divert via the A2070 between Hamstreet and Newchurch”.
A police spokesman said: “Kent Police was made aware of an incident involving a lorry and a tree on the B2067 at 8.18am.
