One of Love Island's latest arrivals is potentially the heir to a multi-million pound fortune from a company founded in Kent.
The popular ITV2 show is presented by Caroline Flack and sees a group of singles living in a luxury villa in Majorica as they attempt to find love and a chance to win £50,000.
Newcomer and self-proclaimed Chelsea socialite Charlie Brake entered the villa last week and secured his place last night by coupling up with Ellie Brown.
He is the grandson of Frank Brake, who along with his two brothers, set up food distribution company Brakes based in Ashford.
The company, which was founded in 1958, was sold for £2.3 billion in 2016 - meaning Charlie could be set to inherit a fortune.
His mum also reportedly lives in Boughton Aulph and Charlie is said to have attended the prestigious Kent College in Canterbury, where fees can cost more than £11,000 a term.
A family friend, who asked not to be named, said: "Charlie has strong links to Ashford. He is from Boughton Aulph, where his mum still lives, and he also went to Kent College.
"His grandfather founded Brakes and built the company from scratch."
The friend also confirmed that Ellie is the usual type Charlie goes for and is similar to his 'previous girlfriends'.
Before entering the villa, Charlie told ITV: "I'm a completely different guy to anyone in there. I don't really have to work so I tend to do what I want, when I want. You've got a lot of guys in the villa who spend a lot of time in the gym. I'm definitely not one of those guys, I keep fit but I eat and drink what I want.
"I think a lot of people when they find out my background, there might be a lot of jealousy there. My grandfather founded a food distribution company called Brakes which my family own and sold it so everyone is well looked after. I visit my dad in Monaco a lot and spend a lot of time in the French Alps.
He continued: "A lot of my mates call me 'Snakey Brakey' as a joke. I have got a reputation to walk over people, even if they are my mates. If I want something, I'll go for it.
"My type on paper is blonde, blue eyes, petite and curvy. I've got my eye on Ellie and Megan."
Love Island continues tonight at 9.30pm on ITV2.
