Police used a rolling road block to control traffic after a crash on the M20 yesterday.
A Peugeot 107 hit the central reservation and ended up blocking two lanes of the motorway London-bound between junction 11 for Hythe and 10 for Ashford.
The accident happened at about 4.19pm.
A police spokesman said: “Officers used a rolling road block while the vehicle was moved over to the hard shoulder, at around 5pm. The vehicle was later recovered.
“The driver, a woman, was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
Long queues of traffic built up behind the road block.
