Police incident closes M20 between Ashford and Hythe from J10 to J11

Traffic is being held and the motorway closed on the M20 due to a police incident.
Police have been called to the stretch of the motorway between Ashford and Hythe.
An incident on the roundabout at junction 10 is forcing all traffic to be held and queues building between J10 for the A2070 and J11 for Hythe and the A20.
A police spokesman said officers were called at 8.25pm to a report of concern for a man's welfare near the M20.
The road has been closed in both directions between Ashford and Hythe while the incident is responded to and drivers have been advised to find alternative routes.
The M20 westbound entry slip at junction J10a is also reportedly closed.
Traffic England estimates the road will reopen between 10pm and 10.30pm but has not announced any further details.
