Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving following crash in North Street, Ashford, this morning

A man is today in police custody following a crash between two cars in Ashford town centre.
Police were called to North Street at 9.25am this morning after two cars collided at the junction with Somerset Road.
No one was reported as injured but a 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving, failing to stop after an accident and driving without insurance.
He is currently in police custody.
The road has been re-opened and is now clear.
