Ashford: M20 walker arrested for being drunk on carriageway

A man has been taken into custody after being arrested on suspicion of being drunk while walking along the M20.
A rolling roadblock was set up this afternoon on the coastbound carriageway between junctions 9 and 10 at Ashford.
Traffic was held up while police officers attended after a report was made at 1pm.
When they arrived they found a 28-year-old man from Dover walking along the carriageway.
He was arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis and being drunk on a highway.
