Man arrested after police cars spotted in Beaver Road, Ashford

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker after five police vehicles were spotted in a road.
Officers were seen in Beaver Road, Ashford, this morning following a report of concern for the welfare of a man in nearby Kingsnorth Road.
Four patrol cars and a van attended at 7.45am and a man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
But police say he has since been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
He will remain in custody while officers continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
