Man arrested after daylight 'sexual assaults' on two women in Elwick Road and New Street, Ashford

A man has been arrested after two women were reportedly sexually assaulted in Ashford in broad daylight.
It is alleged he inappropriately touched a woman whilst stood in Elwick Road at around 9.20am on Thursday.
It's believed he then did the same to a second woman outside a supermarket in New Street just over an hour later at around 10.30am.
Officers were called to New Street where the 31-year-old, of no fixed address, was detained at around 10.40am.
He has been released on police bail until Tuesday June 5.
Police are now appealing for information from any witnesses.
