Ashford: Gang of five rob man in North Street

A man had his phone and wallet stolen after he was attacked by five men in a town centre.
The victim, who was in his 20s, was returning from work along North Street in Ashford at about 2am on Saturday.
As he was walking between Paper Duck and Boots, the man was approached by five men in a red car who assaulted him before stealing his phone and wallet.
One of the suspects was described as a black man, with a slim build, black curly hair, and was wearing a grey coat.
Officers say they are continuing to make inquiries but anyone who witnessed the robbery, or has any information about the incident, is asked to call police on 01843 222289, quoting 29-0578.
