Ashford teenager charged after paramedic is assaulted

A teenager has been charged after allegedly assaulting a paramedic.
Tyler Head was arrested following an incident in Ashford early on Saturday morning.
Police were called following reports that a paramedic had been assaulted while trying to assist a man.
Officers attended to support the ambulance crews, and arrested Mr Head following the incident in Tannery Lane at around 4.20am.
The paramedic is not believed to have been seriously injured during the alleged assault.
The 18-year-old, of Hillbrow Lane, has since been charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
He has been bailed to appear before Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 26.
