Sean Higgins, of Bradbridge Green, charged with assaulting a police officer

An Ashford man has been charged with assaulting a police officer.
Officers were called to a property in Bradbridge Green on Friday following a report of intruders in the garden.
On arrival, one of the officers was assaulted with a knife. He was later treated for cuts to his hand.
Sean Higgins, 39, of Bradbridge Green was arrested and charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on July 2.
