A man had to be cut from a van after it rolled on to its side along a country road last night.

Firefighters were called to Chambers Green Road in Pluckley at 11.50pm.

The van had come off the road and was resting on its side in a field.

Crews removed rolls bars from the rear of the vehicle so the man could be removed and taken into the care of paramedics.

They left the scene at 12.30am.
