Man dies after emergency services called to Conningbrook Lakes, Ashford

A man has died after emergency services were called to a popular lake.
Police and ambulance crews attended Conningbrook Lakes in Ashford after a person was found in need of medical attention.
But despite the efforts of paramedics, the man was declared dead at the scene on Tuesday afternoon.
An ambulance spokesman said: “We were called to the Conningbrook Lakes area of Ashford after receiving reports a person was found in need of medical attention at about 3.20pm on Tuesday.
“Ambulance crews attended but the victim was sadly declared dead at the scene.”
While the circumstances of the death have yet to be determined, police have confirmed it is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman added: “Officers attended and a man was sadly declared deceased at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
