Police appeal for witnesses after crash on Hamstreet Road in Ashford

A man remains in a critical condition following a crash in Ashford.
Police are appealing for information after the incident happened between Bromley Green Road and Capel Road on Hamstreet Road.
Officers were called at 5.47am on Monday where it is believed a silver Toyota Yaris, which was travelling towards Kingsnorth, collided with a tree.
The driver, a man in his 20s from Ashford, was found with serious injuries and was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit have not yet been able to establish the exact time of the collision and are appealing for anyone with information, who may have seen something during the early hours, to get in touch as soon as possible.
