Daniel Christian and Miles Christian charged with GBH after assault in New Rents, Ashford

Two men have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a town centre attack put one victim in hospital.
Police were called to New Rents in Ashford at the weekend to a report that a man and woman had been assaulted.
Both were injured and the man was taken to The William Harvey Hospital for treatment.
Officers had been called shortly before 11pm on Sunday.
East Kent CID arrested two Ashford men two days later.
A charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent was authorised against Miles Christian, 27, of Watermead Close, and Daniel Christian, 32, of Speldhurst Close.
Daniel Christian was also charged with one count of assault by beating.
Both appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday) where they were remanded in custody.
The case is next due to be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, August 5.
