Ashford man charged after Folkestone Harbour assault

A man has been charged with three offences following an assault.
Police and ambulance services rushed to Folkestone harbour on Wednesday after reports a man had been assaulted.
A man was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford with head injuries following the incident at around 12.10pm
Neil De Klerk, of Repton Park, Ashford, has since been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He has also been charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a knife in relation to the incident.
De Klerk, 31, is due to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court today.
