An elderly man had to be rescued from a car last night following a four vehicle smash in Ashford.
Fire crews, police and paramedics were called to Kent Avenue at around 11pm to a report four cars had become wedged together following a collision.
A man, suffering with minor injuries, had to be pulled from the boot of one car by members of the fire service.
Watch manager Kevin Surridge said: "The cars had all got squashed together in the road.
"We had to pull an elderly gentleman out of the back of one car, but because of the angles they were all in, it took a while."
Crews were at the scene for about an hour.
