Man reported for trespassing after crossing railway tracks at Ashford International station

A 31-year-old man has been reported for the offence of railway trespassing
The British Transport Police tweeted late last night saying they had been called to an incident at Ashford International Station.
It is believed that around 10pm yesterday a man crossed the tracks, behind a train, to go onto the opposite platform and speak to staff.
They added: "Sadly this is not a joke and actually did happen.
"He has been reported for the offence of railway trespass."
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "We were called to Ashford railway station at 21.50pm on Sunday, June 24 following reports of a man on the tracks.
"Officers attended and a 31-year-old man was reported for trespassing."
