Emergency services called to crash in Hornash Lane, Shadoxhurst

A man has been taken to hospital after a late-night crash near Ashford, which caused the vehicle to catch fire.
Police were called to a report of a one-vehicle collision in Hornash Lane, Shadoxhurst just before 11.30pm last night.
Officers attended the scene along with fire crews and SECAmb paramedics.
Firefighters were called to the incident shortly after to a report of a vehicle on fire following a crash.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene and the blaze was extinguished using a high-pressure hose reel jet.
Crews then assisted the police in making the scene safe and finished operations at 12.51am.
The man suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.
A police spokesman said an air ambulance was called but could not confirm if it took the man to hospital.
The road was reopened at 1.19am.
SECAmb has been contacted for comment on the nature of the injuries.
