Man suffers ‘broken bones’ in reported Ashford pub attack

A man was taken to hospital with broken bones and facial injuries after he was reportedly attacked leaving a pub.
Detectives are investigating the alleged serious assault which happened as the individual walked out The Albion in Mead Road, Willesborough.
He is said to have been attacked from behind by another man at 10.30pm on Saturday.
A police spokesman said: “The victim, aged in his 30s, sustained broken bones and injuries to his face, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.”
His injuries are described as severe but not life-threatening.
