Meat thief Jason Brazier jailed after shoplifting in Singleton and in South Ashford

A serial shoplifter has been jailed after pilfering hundreds of pounds worth of meat and toiletries from shops during the Christmas period.
Jason Brazier, of no fixed address, appeared at Dover Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to four theft charges at shops in Singleton and South Ashford.
On Tuesday, December 22 the 30-year-old taking £120 worth of toiletries from a shop in the Singleton shopping centre in Hoxton Close.
Then on Boxing Day he twice plundered a shop in Brookfield court, at first taking £220 worth of meat, then returning later to steal a further £200 worth of meat.
Finally on Tuesday, December 29 he returned to the Singleton shopping centre where he stole a further £400 worth of toiletries from the same store as his first theft.
Magistrates sentenced him to eight months (240 days) behind bars for his crimes.
