Two men have been charged with fraud after an alleged false kidnapping.
Police officers were called to Speldhurst Close in the Stanhope estate in Ashford in July after a report that a man had been taken in the area.
Sam Kennett, of Speldhurst Close, was charged with fraud along with David Collins, of Bentley Road in South Willesborough.
Mr Kennett, 25, was also charged with possession of class B drugs and is due to appear before Folkestone magistrates with Mr Collins, 37, on Wednesday, September 13.
