More road and rail chaos for travellers

Motorists and commuters face another day of travel disruption as snow turns to ice on the area's roads and rails.
Main roads and town centre pavements were gritted and salted but some side roads remained treacherous for both drivers and pedestrians.
Kent saw its heaviest snowfall since 1991 yesterday and was one of the worst affected areas in the country, according to the Met Office - but today the problem is going to be ice.
Police advised motorists to only travel if absolutely necessary and a Kent County Council spokesman said: "If journeys have to be undertaken please drive with extreme caution and anticipate delays."
Southeastern suspended all trains to London and ran a limited service in and around coastal Kent where conditions were less severe.
A car landed on its roof after colliding with an embankment on Sunday. Police were called to the accident on the A2070 Hamstreet Bypass at 10.08pm.
The woman driver of the Ford Fiesta was taken to Ashford’s William Harvey Hospital although her injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
Four inches (10cm) of snow had fallen in parts of the county.
Rail passengers are being urged to call National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50 before setting out, while driving conditions on roads and motorways are hazardous with reports of lanes on the M20 near Brands Hatch blocked by snow.
