Developers reveal proposals to construct a big new Morrisons supermarket on vacant land at the junction of Victoria Road and Beaver Road in Ashford

Plans have been unveiled for a huge new Morrisons supermarket in Ashford.
The store, with a petrol filling station, could be built along Victoria Road, opposite furniture shop Homeplus.
The store, part of a regeneration project of Victoria Way, will be built at the junction with Beaver Road.
The proposal also includes plans to build flats above the supermarket.
If planning permission is granted, the site could be as big as 76,000 sq ft, nearly twice the size of the new John Lewis at home shop which opened this week in Ashford.
