Railway bridge in Hythe Road, Ashford, damaged after mystery incident
10:40, 05 April 2017
A railway bridge has been badly damaged and cordoned off after a mystery incident.
Passerby Andy Clark said he spotted the fallen bricks and huge hole in the Hythe Road railway bridge on Tuesday morning.
The photographer said it had not been like that on Monday afternoon but neighbours do not know what happened.
He said: "I reckon something must have crashed into it - it is quite badly damaged.
"But I spoke to a few people who live nearby and no one seems to have seen or heard anything."
