Ashford's former Letraset factory could re-open as a centre for small businesses.
Plans have been revealed to turn the premises into a modern office space which can be hired out by new businesses.
Letraset, on the Kingsnorth Industrial Estate, will finally close next month after its owner, the ColArt Group, announced plans to shut the site down in March this year.
However, the site may not be empty for long as Kent Space, who provide fully serviced offices, meeting and training rooms, mailboxes and self storage areas, are planning to take over the building.
Suzanne Knowles, director of Kent Space Limited, said: “We are in the process of formalising our development for this building. Our plans are to commence refurbishment work in March next year with completion in mid to late 2014.”
